At Courtleigh Place we believe that children learn through play. While playing children use their imaginations to the fullest and gain skills that help them grow.  We believe that providing children with an extensive variety of materials from toys, to everyday items, creates valuable learning experiences.

During their time at Courtleigh Place children will learn to explore, differentiate, recognize similarities and differences, count and refine both their fine and gross motor skills.  The warm, natural surroundings that Courtleigh Place provides, creates a very comfortable and safe environment for all of the children. 

There are opportunities for the the children to interact with each other and the teachers in both small and large group settings.  The Courtleigh Place staff encourages each child to problem solve independently, thus creating a positive self-image, a feeling of self worth, and competence.
